1. Getting in touch

The fastest way to reach us is by email at support@hivecard.ph. We read every message and reply within one business day.

Inside the app, Profile → Help & Support gives you three options:

2. Common questions

Which banks does HiveCard support?

HiveCard currently parses PDF statements from eleven Philippine banks: BPI, BDO, Metrobank, EastWest, RCBC, PNB, Chinabank, Security Bank, HSBC, UnionBank, and AUB. If your bank isn't on the list, you can still add cards and statements manually — and email us so we can prioritize support for your statement layout.

My PDF import didn't extract everything correctly. What now?

Email support@hivecard.ph with the bank name and the statement month. Layouts change occasionally, and we often have a fix within a day or two. Your PDF stays on your phone — we never receive your statements unless you choose to share a redacted parser fingerprint via the optional Help improve the parser screen (Premium/beta only).

How do I cancel my Premium subscription?

On iPhone, open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, find HiveCard Premium, and tap Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the current paid period.

On Android, open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → HiveCard Premium, and tap Cancel.

The 14-day free trial counts as part of the subscription on both platforms — cancelling at least 24 hours before the trial ends prevents the first charge.

How do I get a refund?

Subscription payments are processed by Apple (iPhone) and Google (Android), not by us — refunds are issued by them.

If you ran into a specific problem with HiveCard that triggered the refund, please email us as well — we want to fix it.

How do I move HiveCard to a new phone?

HiveCard is offline-first: your data lives on your device, not on our servers. To move:

Is my data safe?

Yes. Your statements, cards, balances, and transactions stay on your phone, encrypted at rest with AES-256 (via SQLCipher). We never receive them. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

I forgot my PIN — can you reset it?

We can't. The PIN is hashed locally on your device and we never see it. If you've lost access to your PIN and haven't enabled biometric unlock, your only option is to reinstall HiveCard, which clears all local data. If you previously exported an encrypted backup, you can restore from it after reinstalling. We know this is inconvenient — it's also what makes your data unreadable to anyone who gets your phone.

How do I delete my account and data?

Because HiveCard stores nothing on our servers about you, "deleting your account" simply means removing the local data:

See also Data Deletion.

I found a bug or want to suggest a feature.

We love hearing both. Email support@hivecard.ph with what you saw and (if it's a bug) the steps you took. Your Subscriber ID is shown near the bottom of the Profile screen — including it helps us triage quickly.
